Lovely hotel
We had another lovely stay at the Chough’s Nest. It is such a beautiful hotel, with lovely, clean rooms, fantastic views of the sea, and Devon coast and close to so many beautiful sites for walks and visits. Lynton and Lynmouth are both very attractive with great restaurants, pubs and cafes and the hotel is run by such a friendly family. Our first visit to this hotel, ably run by two pleasant sisters, was a joy from start to finish. The tasteful traditional decor and beautiful scenery surrounding the hotel with easy access to North Devon countryside and coast made it a great choice. Fabulous double room with large en suite bathroom overlooking the bay. Beautifully quiet. Looked after so well by the hosts who were attentive to the details. Lovely choice of breakfasts and evening meals. Extra touches like fruit and cake to take out each day. Quite a few stairs to the top rooms but otherwise, perfect!

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location
Fantastic sea view from the window also looks down on a beautiful kept garden terrace which was a joy also to look out onto when eating a 1st class breakfast. Home made cakes and fresh fruit were also available every day for you to help yourself to which was a lovely touch… Thank you for such a lovely stay.
